What is Jiki-bup?
It is a counter movement towards cheonki-bop. When attacked by the opponent, you are obliged to protect yourself.
If you can not just gain control over your opponent, then there is no way but using nak-bop or self-defence technique to protect yourself.
Jiki-bop is thus a self-defence movement to keep yourself safe and appropriate from the attack from the opponent.
About Ho Shin Ba't Ki (호신받기) (Imaginary jiki-bup)
A technique to deal with the opponent’s cheonki-bop without getting wounded, it is a position just before nak-bop (falling).
This is also an imaginary training technique by onself against the imaginary opponent/rival.
If you train it actively, you can cope with any type of attacks and take them with ease and safety.
When you practise this technique, the joints and muscles are distorted or bended to the reverse direction.
As this stimulates the joints, spinal column and muscles of the body, which enables them to strengthen and helps the smooth blood circulation.
Therefore it is good for the growth of the youth and a healthy sport for adults.
And also a good self-defence technique to protect yourself perfectly in case of emergency.
